IMEG was hired by a Nebraska based Irrigation System & Road Safety Infrastructure Manufacturer to develop and implement VKS digital work instruction for multiple assembly lines.
THE PROBLEM
Existing work instructions are paper based and difficult to manage
No existing work instructions for some processes

Established work centers for all electrical assembly processes
Sourced and integrated digital work instruction equipment for each workstation to best suit each specific process
Trained customer staff and operators in the use of VKS digital work instructions
Implemented barcodes for product traceability and to streamline data entry
Developed non-conformance forms and established a work instruction approval procedure

Created over 187 work instructions for several different product groups
Implemented work instruction for variable operator production
Implemented live data and quality tracking for production process
Implemented system to update and manage all digital work instructions
